Nancy Wise

My name is Nancy Wise. I have been practicing yoga unknowingly my whole life. I have, knowingly, practicing since 2003. I’ve been sitting either in butterfly or a wide -leg straddle since I was 4 or 5 years old, simply because it was comfortable and felt good.

As I got older I got trapped into feeling the need to be the skinniest, smartest, funniest, nicest, prettiest and whatever else would make me feel perfect. I found out that through numerous unhealthy and some healthy, styles of living that being prefect was simply impossible.

Someone suggested that I try yoga. Honestly, it didn’t sound all that appealing to me but I decided to give it a try. I went to my first teacher training in Arizona in 2003 and I got to learn from some of the most respected yogis in the world. It was life changing! Thankfully, I found yoga before I destroyed myself mentally, physically, and spiritually. I learned early on that yoga is different for everyone. For some, it’s more of a spiritual practice. For some, it’s more of a relaxing practice, and for others it’s a full- on workout.

My goal in teaching is to help others find their own path through yoga. I have been taught thro ugh numerous teacher trainings, how to use the principles of alignment, because everybody is built differently. I have been blessed with amazing and patient teachers before me who have shown me the way to connect my breath with my movement, therefore creating a calmness that I never had before. Since then, I have learned so much more physically and spiritually, than I could have ever imagined.

My flow classes can be challenging but available to most who want to be physically challenged. My yin and restorative classes are more relaxing but still will give an amazing sense of well-being to most.

Molly Burnsky

Molly has a BFA in dance. Professional dancer/performer. Choreographer. Dance teacher. AFFA certified group instructor/ 25 years. 200 hour Yoga teacher /16 years. Physical therapy aid, rehab exercise assistant/10 years. Pilates teacher, group and private, mat and apparatus/ 16 years

Stefanie Cornell

Stefanie is a native Californian who recently moved to Reno with her family. She has a Master of Arts in Communication Studies and spent several years as a college instructor and university administrator. Stefanie has always led an active lifestyle enjoying boating, skiing, martial arts, and gymnastics. She began her yoga journey five years ago as a means to alleviate stress from work and aid in pain relief from various physical injuries. She soon realized the amazing benefits yoga can bring and wanted to share those benefits with others. Through her journey, as well as just living a busy life, Stefanie continues to learn how yoga can bring balance and perspective to a busy lifestyle by nourishing your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. She is excited to join the Renewed Health team as a graduate of The Yoga Company’s 200 hour Teacher Training program.

Tiffany Thiele

Tiffany has a Masters in Education and teaches fifth grade.  As a busy professional she has learned that practicing aerial yoga as well as more traditional forms of yoga can offer a fun and unique way to relieve stress, increase flexibility, strength and can be effective both on their own or combined with other activities.  Tiffany is passionate about teaching others, physical fitness, and living and active lifestyle.  Her athletic background includes aerial silks, yoga, gymnastics, snowboarding, rock climbing, and training for triathlons.  Being able to share her passion for aerial arts and yoga with students at Renewed Health & Wellness provides her with great joy and balance.
